We don’t know that it helps in conceiving…but we hope that it could for select patients. It hasn’t yet been studied outside of the lab…

Dexamethasone and Growth Hormone both influence the very foundation of how your body builds hormonal support as egg mature within the follicles.

Yes, this answer is vague, but the truth is we have a limited understanding of their local effects and side effects (hence, experimental). I will be attending the ASRM conference in November and will report back as to the increased value (or not) either substance appears to bring to egg quality.

Is it correct that DHEA can cause hair loss, acne, etc. (many side effects)? I read about the connection to certain cancers (e.g. ovarian)? Would you recommend this for a woman over 40? Thank you. Please elaborate on these topics as soon as you can! Your page is very helpful.
